Description: Welcome to Hotel Rural Casa de los Herrera, a building with a rich historical value. It is a nineteenth century mansion, with over a hundred years old, carefully restored to maintain its original style and charm of their lordly origin, located in the municipality of Hermigua.The building is formed by walls of stone, clay and wood floors, with a sloping part three and four waters, with timber frame and brick laying. The building overturns in a central court surrounded with a covered porch that acts as the core of communication between the rooms and the common zones, trying to mantain the whole similarity of the traditional and typical island architecture. From the Direction of the Hotel, we wish that our calm, familiar environment and exquisite service, make you enjoy the whole tranquility and natural flavor that offers the north of La Gomera, with all its comforts
Directions: There are two ways to go to La Gomera: ship or plane. If you come from the mainland or outside Spain and want to arrive by sea the best choice is to choose a flight that arrives at the airport of Sofia, in the south of Tenerife. From this point you can take a tax ,few miles only,i to Los Cristianos Harbour, where you can find the boats to La Gomera.,There you can choose between different boats and companies: Naviera Armas Ferry, Fast Ferry Fred Olsen. All these boats arrive to San Sebastián de La Gomera, the island's capital,from where you can move using any kind of transport.The second option more operational, if you travel by plane, you have to fly to Los Rodeos airport in the north of Tenerife. From this airport you can take a Binter Canarias flight to the airport of La Gomera, located in the municipality of Alajero, from here you can travel by land to the rest of the island.
