Description: Our Rural Zone Hotel is in the tiny village of Las Hayas, Valle Gran Rey, in the inequalled setting of La Gomera Island and moreover in a peaceful area where the ways of rural life are little changed. It is only 500 metres from Garajonay National Park and 20 min. from the wonderful volcanic black sand beaches of Valle Gran Rey. La Gomera is one of the smallest island in Canary Islands. Rooms have sun light and nice views to natural sites, palm tree woods, sea, the islands of El Hierro and La Palma, farms and gardens or mountains. In our typical restaurant La Montaña-Casa Efigenia you will have the best and unique traditional Gomerian food. Efigenia is very famous.FROM VALLE GRAN REY:Take the road up by the valley and pass the tunnels. After the last tunnel (in Arure) take first road to the right and next village (about 10 minutes) is Las Hayas.FROM THE AIRPORT IN PLAYA SANTIAGO:Take the road to Valle Gran Rey (to the left). After Alajeró and when you arrive to the Garajonay National Park, take the left again and pass the little villages of Igualero, Chipude, El Cercado and the next is Las Hayas. There, when you arrive to Garajonay National Park take the road to the left to Valle Gran Rey, it is still Las Hayas and you find La Montaña Restaurant.
